After over five years of these giveaways each month, I have decided to add a no strings advisory to my giveaway. Whilst there will be no obligation, nor will I ask for or want any proof, all winners of my giveaway are now encouraged to pay it forward if they feel they can. This could be a donation, however small, to a charity of their choice or time donated to help someone they know. Like I said, I do not want you to tell me if you do this after winning, this is just a little prompt that it would be a nice idea. I know a lot of folks do this already, but many people have said that I should be encouraging paying any wins forward. I've always seen these giveaways as my acts of kindness with no strings - I don't make people follow me or jump through hoops to enter the draw, so I hope this small request to pass on any luck you may have will be taken with the good heart with which I have made it. Now to the giveaway....I was making a mushroom and cheese omelette the other week and thought how about a mushroom for my giveaway this month. Now I know that mushrooms are not actually vegetables but they are included in the 'five a day' guide so I've made them anyway. They are also healthy with low calories, higher protein than most veg and being a good source of vitamin D. Also, I just love how they look. These mini panels are 5x5cm enamel on copper panels mounted on 7x7cm white painted mdf freestanding blocks (see image 2). Each is fired individually with some variance of hue.
